Camden Community Radio - The voices of local people on radio
This week CC Radio bring you a selection of fun themed St Patrick?s and Mother?s day events along with the usual mix of music, art, entertainment, poetry, theatre and film. We have gigs at Koko, a showcase from Weekend Arts College students, Paul Weller at the Camden Roundhouse, Finley Quaye at the Jazz Caf? and Talib Kweli at the Kentish Town Forum. Poetry nights in and around Camden include Keats House and a 20th Anniversary celebration of the Forward Prize, with previous prizewinners Seamus Heaney & Jackie Kaye, at Kings Place. There is an open mic night at Kiss The Sky Bar and Caf?.
Music meets poetry in Outspoken and Proud showdown at Camden Proud Galleries. Elsewhere, there?s a Quilt exhibition at the Swiss Cottage Gallery. A pair of one man comedy shows at the Etcetera Theatre and the new polish film, ?In Darkness? is showing at the Tricycle Cinema. The Irish Centre in Camden Square celebrate St Patrick?s Day in style.
